Visit in Como 21st May 2002

    
So much water! Today we went to the Lake Como which is about 15 miles away from where Dagmar lives. The weather was not the best but mostly it didn't rain. We walked more or less around the lake, at least to me it seemed so, I'd have liked to get on a boat but Dagmar suffers from seasickness and so I just looked at the ships from the shore!

We also met Dagmar's parents who were driving to somewhere else and stopped over in order to meet me in person after having heard from me already on the phone. They seem nice enough to me, but Dagmar seems to have some issue with them.

 
Here are two contemplative moments, the sea really put me into a meditative mood!

Here I am sitting on Dagmar's knees in front of a typical italian arc (so I'm told).

Dagmar took me to see a small museum dedicated to Alexander Volt, who kind of invented electricity and was born here in Como. Lots of interesting stuff inside but too dark to take pictures!

And here we are inside the church, I must say this architectural stuff is sure overwhelming, you get this feeling of being little  !!

Ricky!!! Here we both were thinking sooo much of you! We lighted a candle hoping with all our hearts for you to get better! WE LOVE YOU!!!! And miss you!

Yet another church...

..actually seen from the table of a very nice coffe shop where we had a refreshing ice cream at the end of our visit here.. I got pistacchio, yummmmmm!
